Welcome to the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page for the AABB Education platform. Please review our list of commonly asked questions and their solutions below.

Login

Q: I can't remember my Username or Password to login.
A: Select the Login button and then select “Forgot Password?” or “Forgot Username?”. Enter your email address you registered with and an automated email will be sent to reset your username and/or password to the email address on your AABB account. Check Spam/Junk folder if you don't see the email in your inbox. If the email on your account is no longer valid, please contact AABB Customer Support at membership@aabb.org to have it manually reset.


Evaluations and CE Certificates

Q: How do I earn credit and/or complete evaluations?
A: After you have viewed the program or completed any applicable activities click on the “CE Information” tab and click on the "Complete Evaluation” or “Take Quiz” button. Once you have submitted the evaluation/test you will be able to print your certificate immediately.

Q: Where do I find my certificates?
A: Log in to your account and click on the “My Transcript” button located in the My Account area in this platform. Your CE Certificate for programs completed on this platform are available to view/print.

Programs/Content

Q: I don’t see an on-demand eCast that I registered for?
A: Access to on-demand eCasts are provided 7-10 business days after the live event has occurred. AABB staff will contact you via email alerting you that the program is available for viewing. If the program has already occurred and you have not heard from AABB please contact us at eLearning@aabb.org.

Q: Where do I access a live eCast?
A: AABB staff will provide access information approximately 1 week prior to the live event. AABB live eCasts are hosted via GoToWebinar unless otherwise specified so you will not find any information regarding live access on this site. If you registered for the live program but have not received an email notification within 2 business days of the live eCast please contact eLearning@aabb.org.

Q: I can't find my purchased downloadable publication?
A: Access to downloadable publications is available through your main AABB account.

Q: Where do I find my purchased AABB Standard?
A: Complete information on AABB Standards is available through the AABB Standards Portal.

Q: I registered for the AABB Cellular Therapies Certificate Program. Where do I access it?
A: The AABB Cellular Therapies Certificate program is housed on The George Washington University Blackboard platform. Not registered for this award-winning program or want to learn more? Check it out today.

Q: I am looking for more programs. Where can I find more on-demand programs?
A: Visit the AABB Marketplace.


Downloading PDF or MP3/4 Files

Q: I am trying to download a PDF or MP3 or MP4 file associated with a program/session, and the file will not start to download.
A: PDF and MP3 (audio only format) files are allowed for download. MP4 files (such as on-demand video presentations) are not allowed to be downloaded. File downloads that do not start or prompt you to save the file to your computer indicate a connection failure or the content is being blocked by your local network. Some hospitals and other facilities block certain file types from being downloaded. To resolve this problem, please submit a support request and indicate the file you are attempting to download. Once the digitellinc.com support staff has determined that the user's network is blocking the content, further action may be needed by contacting your network administrator. Please note that most MP3 or MP4 files can exceed 500 MB. Distribution of content is strictly prohibited.


2019 AABB Annual Meeting Live Streaming

Below you will find answers to commonly asked questions about AABB’s 2019 Annual Meeting live stream. If interested in registering for the live stream please visit the live stream registration page.

Q. What is live streaming?
A. Live streaming is the broadcasting of real-time, live video to an audience over the internet. In this case, AABB will be streaming 14 sessions that will be occurring real time during the 2019 AABB Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX.

Q. Can anyone participate in live streaming?
A. Yes! As long as you have an internet connection and are not attending the AABB Annual Meeting in person you can register for and access the full live stream program (or by day). We recommend you test your computer compatibility with the event platform prior to joining the live stream (can also be found as “System Checker” tab on the 2019 AABB Annual Meeting live stream webpage).

Q. What if I can’t make one of the live stream sessions or I miss part of it?
A. No problem. Part of your registration package includes access to the on-demand version of the live streaming sessions for the days you are registered for. Please note that on-demand presentations will be made available approximately 3 weeks after the Annual Meeting and are available at the discretion of the speaker(s). Speakers may not consent to being recorded so the full session may not be available.

Q. I am registered for the live stream. Where do I access? What do I do now?
A. On the day(s) of the live stream for which you are registered, you will receive a reminder email that includes instructions on how to join the sessions. You can also visit the “Live Sessions” tab or you can also access via the “My 2019 Annual Meeting Live Stream” page and click on the session to watch the live stream.

Q. Can I participate during the live stream such as ask questions to the speakers?
A. Yes! You will be able to type in questions via the platform and there will be a live stream moderator who will be reviewing your questions and will pose them to the speaker(s) during the session.

Q. Will the audience see or hear me during the live stream?
A. No. The session moderator will monitor questions, but no one will be able to see or hear you. You will only be able to communicate via the live stream platform by typing in questions and comments.

Q. Are the live streaming sessions available in Spanish?
A. Yes! You will be able to watch and listen the sessions with Spanish subtitles throughout the program. Spanish captions are automatically visible in a floating panel that can be moved around the screen. The Transcript tab in the platform during the live stream will include the entire caption text for the session - you will need to click the tab at the start of the session to access.

Q. I’m having trouble creating an account to register for the 2019 AABB Annual Meeting live stream. What do I do?
A. Please click here to create an account. Once you have created an account you will be in the AABB "My Account" page on the AABB website. Simply click on the "Access Education Platform" button to be directed back here to your AABB Education Platform account.
