This workshop will describe the CLIA requirements for document and change control by comparing and contrasting expectations of the three of the major Accrediting Organizations (AOs); the AABB (formally, the American Association of Blood Banks), the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the Joint Commission (TJC). Discussion will include two examples of document and change control process: one utilizing a manual process and a second leveraging a software solution.
Describe and compare the criteria for document and change control of three deemed status accrediting organizations based upon CLIA requirements.
Illustrate a manual method for document and change control management for fulfilling these requirements.
