Program Description: The program will focus on education and teaching levels in three different countries, with different resource levels. The presentations will highlight information gleaned from surveys of members taken by individuals currently involved in the Global Transfusion Forum. The program will cover the position of Transfusion Medicine in the field of health care and health sciences important for the development of appropriate teaching programs for the different categories of staff – working force, managerial force and policy makers. This will be illustrated with information on education in Transfusion Medicine from an African and South-East Asian perspective. There will be three presentations:
