Brian Curtis MS, PhD, D(ABMLI), MLS(ASCP)SBB

Dr. Brian Curtis provides management and scientific direction to several of Versiti’s diagnostic labs as Senior Director of Diagnostic Hematology with oversight of both the Platelet and Neutrophil Immunology, Hemostasis, Molecular Oncology and Hematology Genetics Labs. In addition, he holds appointments of Senior Investigator at the Blood Research Institute, and Assistant Adjunct Professor at the CTSI, Medical College of Wisconsin. He has been involved in research, assay development, and clinical studies of platelet and neutrophil autoimmunity and alloimmunity, with a goal to develop improved methods of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of immune hematologic diseases. Dr. Curtis serves on several national and international committees, and he has published over 130 scientific journal articles, and also abstracts, reviews, and book chapters relevant to the field.
