Frances Verter PhD

Frances Verter, PhD, is the founder and CEO of Parent's Guide to Cord Blood Foundation, a non-profit organization that is best known for its website ( https://parentsguidecordblood.org ). The Foundation serves both expectant parents and industry insiders. For the public, we provide education about the why and how of cord blood banking, either donation or family storage. For professionals, we provide databases of cord blood banks around the world and reports on new developments that could impact the industry. Dr. Verter is originally trained as a physicist, with a PhD from Princeton University. She changed careers after her first child Shai died of cancer, and founded the Parent's Guide to Cord Blood.
