Reggie Thomasson MD

Reggie Thomasson, MD is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Boston University’s Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and currently serves as the Medical Director of the Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine Service at Boston Medical Center as well as the Associate Director of the Pathology Residency Program. He joined the faculty after completing his fellowship in Blood Bank & Transfusion Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. His professional and clinical interests include massive transfusion, blood product inventory management, sickle cell disease and diversity in medicine. He has been a member of AABB for over five years and currently serves on the DHQ-HPC Task Force and the Awards Committee.
