Suzanne Dworsky MBA, MT(ASCP)

Medicine Department Administrator, Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

Suzanne Dworsky has been the co-leader of the CT Management sub-section since 2011. She has been working as the Administrative Director for the Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Clinical labs at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (UTMDACC) since February, 2011 and recently promoted, June, 2018, to the Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Medicine Department Administrator which includes the academic department, faculty, research and the clinical labs. Prior to her current leadership responsibilities including, human resources, financial resources, asset management, and clinical research management, Suzanne was the Operations Manager for the Blood Bank at UTMDACC for sixteen years. Other than the above noted management responsibilities, she is involved in management of the assigned facilities and staff for emergency preparedness. Suzanne also continues to contribute to the CT Management subsection initiatives which include the introduction of Lean Principles, a Productivity Model, Business Plans, Staffing models, Capital asset acquisition, and Contract Writing. She considers herself a very progressive leader always reaching out to others seeking new and better ways to do their work in a very complex environment.
