Dr. Moon is the Director and a Professor in the Division of Clinical Laboratory Science at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine. A faculty member since 2002, Dr. Moon plays a key role in shaping the program’s curriculum and currently teaches the immunohematology content to future medical laboratory professionals. Dr. Moon holds a Master’s degree in Health Services Research from Wake Forest University and a Doctoral degree in Health-Related Sciences from Virginia Commonwealth University. With extensive experience in clinical laboratory science education and research, Dr. Moon is committed to preparing future laboratory professionals and advancing the field through innovative teaching and scholarly contributions.
