Warren Fingrut MD

Dr. Warren Fingrut is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on addressing disparities in healthcare delivery impacting transplant and cell therapy candidates and recipients. He is also an MPH Student at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to these roles, Dr. Fingrut completed medical school at University of British Columbia, Internal Medicine Residency Training at University of Toronto, Hematology Fellowship at University of British Columbia, and Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Fellowship Training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Fingrut is also founder and Director of Stem Cell Club, a Canadian national not-for-profit organization which works to address racial disparity in access to unrelated stem cell donors. Through his work, Dr. Fingrut advocates for a more inclusive blood and transplant system for underserved and marginalized patients and donors.
