Leah Mendelsohn Stone is the Senior Director of Public Policy and Strategic Partnerships at AABB, where she leads the association in advancing its legislative, regulatory and public policy priorities. She directs the planning, development and implementation of AABB’s advocacy agenda, establishes and maintains strategic relationships with public and private partners, and represents AABB before Congress, Federal agencies and advisory committees, and other organizations. Leah’s ability to effectively strategize and advocate for AABB is informed by her extensive expertise in Medicare and Medicaid coverage and reimbursement, the Affordable Care Act, health care delivery reform, and prevention and health care quality initiatives. Leah cultivated her expertise throughout the decade she spent in private practice as a health care policy and advocacy attorney. Leah holds a JD from the Emory University School of Law, as well as a BA in psychology and a certificate in community health from Tufts University.
