Maddie Knier is a senior scientist in the Immunohematology Reference Lab at Versiti Wisconsin. After obtaining her BS in Clinical Laboratory Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MLS certification, she worked for Duke University Hospital Transfusion Services in Durham, NC. Maddie relocated to Milwaukee, WI and worked at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Transfusion Services before transferring to her current position within the IRL in 2013. Maddie obtained her SBB certification in 2014 and has worked on many projects within the lab. Her interests include ABO sequencing and teaching MLS and SBB students in complex antibody identifications.
