Baia Lasky is a board-certified physician in Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine. She received her training at UCLA and joined the team of medical directors at the American Red Cross in 2019, where she is currently the Divisional Chief Medical Officer in the Southeast and regional medical director for the Georgia region. Dr. Lasky provides medical leadership for key organizational initiatives including the Sickle Cell initiative, O-Negative inventory stewardship and platelet product strategy, and is a medical partner for donor services focusing on donor safety and education.
