Dr. James Knowles heads the PPTA Global Regulatory team and provides strategic direction and contribution to regulatory and medical policy activities of the Association, covering the US, EU and RoW geographic regions. In addition, he interacts and supports the Association's members from within both the plasma collection and manufacturing CMC businesses. Previously, James has 17 years of PDT industry experience and knowledge at Grifols, within Quality Control, Quality and Regulatory Compliance, and Global Regulatory Affairs for both the manufacturing and plasma collection businesses. James holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from London South Bank University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Lincoln University (UK).
