Ms. Michelle Fransen has been with Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association since May 2018. As Director, Lead for Study Management, she works with various stakeholders in developing, implementing, and executing the industry’s plasma donor health studies and projects. Prior to joining PPTA, she spent over 10 years as a Naval Flight Officer in the US Navy. As a civilian, she worked in women’s health research and in occupational and environmental health consulting, conducting exposure assessments and causation analyses. Ms. Fransen holds a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Science and Master of Professional Studies in Leadership, Education and Development, both from the University of Maryland, College Park. She earned her undergraduate degree in exercise science.
